What Dragonfly does

Dragonfly connects your iPhone to your Mac so you can control the pointer, click, type, dictate, scroll and control media. No account is required.

Data we collect

We do not collect, sell or share personal data. Dragonfly has no advertising identifiers, analytics or tracking service.

Data on your devices

Pointer commands, keystrokes and control messages travel directly between your iPhone and Mac over your local network or Bluetooth. Typing and dictation history is stored only on your iPhone. Pointer heat-map data is stored only on your Mac.

Permissions

Local Network and Bluetooth access are used to find and connect to your Mac. Microphone and speech recognition are used only when you choose dictation. Photos access is used only when you choose to save a heat map. Location access is optional and may be used by iOS to show the name of your Wi-Fi network; Dragonfly does not track your location.

Third parties

When iOS uses Apple speech recognition, that processing is governed by Apple's privacy policy. Dragonfly does not receive or store audio recordings.
